Ocean City is only 25 miles. We made two trip for the beach and for the amusement rides.
Grandma Lorna and Pawpaw Jim came to visit. We had a picnic by the river in the mountains.
Visiting family in Little Rock, Arkansas, in June 2009. We also went boating in Hot Springs.
Easter and Around the House in April, 2009
We hung around the house and went for an easy hike along an old logging road in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
Landra and the boys visiting family in Illinois and Indiana. The occasions: Lance's 40-th birthday, Lance being accepted into the Air National Guard, and Super Bowl.
The circus came to town in Knoxville, our visit to Tega Cay, South Carolina, and hike to Spruce Flat Falls in the Smoky Mountains.

We arrived in Knoxville, Tennessee, where we hope to settle down. In May we drove the car to Maryland to visit Charlie's family and finish the Baby Tour.
Southern Illinois (2006)

Little Rock (2006)
The Baby Tour continued to Little Rock, Arkansas. We stayed in the Maumelle Park on the Arkansas River.
The Kerekes grandparents came to Dallas to meet their grandson.

Palm Canyon (2006)
The Palm Canyon Nature Trail in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park starts in the RV campground near the visitor center. The trail is three miles long, round trip. The main attraction is the oasis of California fan palms, as well as the bighorn sheep, if you are lucky enough to see them
San Diego Beaches (2006)
On a different day we went to the Mission and Pacific beaches in San Diego. The two beaches are connected and span about three miles of coastline. A concrete boardwalk runs along the beach, full of bicyclers, skaters, and other wheeled exercisers.
San Diego Zoo (2006)
We spent a day at the famous San Diego Zoo. It was a perfect day--sunny and about 60 degrees.
A trail starting at an opening in the back fence of Stagecoach Trails RV Resort took us to Cool Canyon, 0.8 miles away. This canyon (more like a desert creek with high walls) does not seem to have an official name; it was named Cool Canyon by the locals.
Anza-Borrego Desert (2006)
After leaving Oregon, our next major stop was the Anza-Borrego desert in southern California, about 80 miles east from San Diego. We stayed in the Stagecoach Trails RV Resort in Shelter Valley.

Baby Kerekes (2005)
Our baby boy has arrived a little early, just in time for Christmas.
Allan, Janan and Lance came to visit us in Gold Hill. While here, we showed them the salmons running on the Rogue River, Prospect Falls, and Crater Lake.
Our visit to Portland to see Landra's aunt, uncle, and cousins. We took a day trip to a couple of beaches near Portland—Ecola State Park and Cannon Beach.

We went to see Crater Lake with Doyce and Donna. On a separate occasion we attended Danny and Heidi's cowboy wedding in an amphitheater.

Burgman and Medford Hiking (2005)
We finally bought a second mode of transportation -- a Suzuki Burgman 400. We have also started checking out the near-by mountains.
Oregon Trip Leg 5 (2005)
The fifth and last leg of our trip ended in Ashland, Oregon, at the Glenyan RV Park about six miles outside of town. The entire trip was 5,444 miles long, lasted 48 days, and required $1,511 worth of diesel.

Oregon Trip Leg 4 (2005)
The fourth leg of our trip to Oregon ended in Anaheim, California, one of the Los Angeles suburbs. Here we visited more family and friends. This leg took four days to complete and we stayed at the Anaheim Resort RV Park.

The third leg of our trip to Oregon took us from Maryland to Arkansas to visit Landra’s family and friends.

We arrived to Salisbury in late December 2004 and we celebrated Christmas with Charlie's family in early January.
Oregon Trip Leg 2 (2004)
The second leg of our trip to Oregon was a visit to Charlie’s family in Salisbury, Maryland. We camped at Eagle’s Nest Campground in Berlin, MD, near the beach town of Ocean City.
